Highpower Speedmaster Rifle - Calibre .223 REM

This is our high power type rifle primarily designed for the American competition of that name, it has also found favour with shooters liking both the challenge of iron sight target shooting and the timeless shape of the black rifle, capable of excellent long range accuracy, whilst maintaining a weight and balance that allows it to be at home in highpower, service rifle and other matches that require multi position shooting. The standard left hand cocking lever that has always been a feature of the Speedmaster model can give a rate of fire whilst on a bipod/rest of up to 80 rpm.  The right hand cocking lever, standard on this model, is fitted, and although the rate of fire is reduced when compared to the left hand/bipod combination it is still far quicker than a rear charger, and allows the shooter to maintain eye to target lock.  The rear charging handle, which was designed to be used once in the morning and once at night is mainly for decoration!
